The PPSh-41 is a Russian submachine gun that appears in Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese of Call of Duty: World at War. It also appears in the Nintendo DS version of Zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Consoles and PC
The PPSh-41 can be purchased from the Mystery Box. It possesses high power, low recoil, great accuracy, and a high rate of fire. It can be used in most cases and even in later rounds without being Pack-a-Punched due to its high power. Despite this, the player should still go for headshots to conserve ammo.
The Pack-a-Punched PPSh-41 becomes "The Reaper," obtaining more ammo, more ammunition per magazine, and more power. Because of this, it is comparable to any Pack-a-Punched machine gun, as its ammo count and damage are the same. The Reaper can be used for a long time, as the other machine guns that perform similarly can as well. Headshots should still be made to conserve ammo, as The Reaper is known to burn through ammo quickly even if used with care.
The PPSh-41 can be bought off the wall and purchased from the Mystery Box.
- It was said to be one of Nikolai's favorite weapon because it was made in Russia. This could be another reference where Soviet Union always uses Mosin-Nagant and PPSh-41 in World War II.
