M5A2 Carbine

The M5A2 Folsom Carbine with a Grenade Launcher.

The M5A2 Folsom Carbine is an assualt rifle in the custom Nazi Zombies map "Rebirth".

Manufacturing[]

The M5A2 Folsom Carbine (more commonly called M5A2 Carbine) was manufactured in 1973, but wasn't completed until 1975. The M5A2 is used by the Central Intelligence Agency, International Creature Elimination Force, and the Studies and Observations Group. The M5A2 was produced by Colt, the same company that produced the Colt M1911 (which was the common sidearm when using the M5A2). In all, there were thousands of the M5A2 produced.

Service[]

The M5A2 Carbine was in service from 1975, the currenty date. It has seen little combat, considering the fact that it has only been available for one year. The weapon always preformed its intended job, and the groups that used it were usually satisfied with it. The M5A2 replaced the Commando.

Variants[]

The M5A2 itself only had one variant, however, before the M5A2 was produced, the M5 and M5A1 had been manufactured in 1970.

  • M5 Carbine - The first variant. The version was simple. It had no attachments that could added on to it.
  • M5A1 Carbine - The M5A1 Carbine opened the door to attachments. The basic layout hadn't changed.
  • M5A2 Carbine - The M5A2 Carbine also had attachments, plus higher damage and accuracy.
  • M5A2 Folsom Carbine - The Folsom Carbine was a huge step up from the M5A2. It had even more damage and increased accuracy, lighter weight, and an added air-cooled system.

Attachments[]

These following attachments can be added to M5A2 Folsom Carbine.

  • Flashlight
  • Suppressor
  • Red Dot Sight
  • Reflex Sight
  • ACOG Scope
  • Infrared Scope
  • Dual Magazines
  • Extended Magazines
  • Flamethrower
  • Grenade Launcher

Pack-a-Punched[]

When Pack-a-Punched via the Pack-a-Punch Machine the M5A2 Folsom Carbine becomes the "M115 Carbine", and sports higher damage, a larger magazine capacity, and a Red Dot Sight with a random aiming reticule.
