Apocalypse II: Left Behind, also thumb|right|280pxknown as Apocalypse II: Left Behind: The Rapture, Apocalypse 2: Left Behind, and Apocalypse II, is a non-canonical Nazi Zombies storyline that was created by Daniel Smith.
Daniel Smith first got the idea of extending the original Apocalypse storyline after hearing of the theory that the The Rapture would occur on May 21, 2011, and after watching the film "Left Behind: The Movie". Smith said that the Apocalypse II: Left Behind storyline and Spacefront storyline will be completed at the same time, however this was not the case.
Apocalypse II: Left Behind is the direct sequel to the Apocalypse storyline, however the storyline shares its it has nothing to do with a zombie apocalypse.
The storyline includes ten maps, no map packs, and one bonus mission, making it the shortest storyline ever created by Daniel Smith. The chapters are:
- That's No Sandstorm
- Judgement Day
- Beginning of the End
- The Evil Within
- Temple of Doom
- The Risen Resistance (bonus mission)
- Ironically, the Hellbound storyline and Apocalypse II storyline are direct opposites. The Hellbound storyline has to do with Satan and Hell, while the Apocalypse II storyline has to do with God, Jesus Christ, and Heaven.
- Originally, "Fly Away" was supposed to be the theme song. And before "Fly Away" it was supposed to be "Pray For You". But both songs were scrapped.
